A town meeting is to be held this week. The meeting on Tuesday (May 19) and Thursday (May 21) will be held in Camelot-Arena at 10:00 pm edt time. On Wednesday (May 20) and Friday (May 22) the meeting will be held in Camelot itself to allow any occasional RPers who are not on this list to get a chance. Then on Saturday (May 23) from 11:00 am till 4:00 pm EDT I will be in the Arena to hear any comments from anyone wishing to voice them. In order to have a bit of order these are the nights and the general topics.

1. Tuesday Topic is "How can Camelot be best organized to make it a Channel that meets the most needs?"

2. Wednesday Topic is "How should we deal with OOC and RP in the channel at the same time?"

3. Thursday Topic is "What is period RP and how much of it is enough?

4. Friday Topic is "What are some changes that we MUST make if Camelot is to grow and be what we all dream of?"

5. Saturdays Topic is "What is Camelot and how do we all fit in?"

I am sorry about the times if they are not convenient to everyone but I do have a life and work to attend to. If a group of people can't make some of these then email me and we will see if a time can be setup that will fit in. If all else fails, please send your responses to the questions to me. (wdavis@blackhawke.net) Once the meetings are finished I will attempt to set the logs up and make them available to all. Then after that I propose that anyone can email me with any follow up comments. I will be creating a web page so you can browse the logs and individual comments on the different topics. I ask that this discussion or any part of it be kept to the email or in the meetings. I do not want any flame wars started or people crushed because they feel different. This is an attempt to try and see where Camelot should head and how it should run and what it should do to get there.

A few words on the meetings. These are to be friendly and informative. Personal attacks or vendettas will not be permitted. You may sneak in and get a cheap shot at someone but Wenn's and my high quality kills will ensure it doesn't happen again. The meeting will start when advertised and end 90 minutes later. If you miss it or don't get a chance to completely view your opinions (please remember there will be a lot of people with a lot to say) then immediately after the meeting email me. When you email me make sure the topic is known and I will compile everyone's comments no matter what the length and they will be available for downloading. I also reserve the right to not post an email if it degrades someone or is so abusive in it attack that I feel it is wrong. I will make every attempt to post them as they are written so please remember .. you may take a shot but they will be able to also. After the meeting closes if you wish to continue the discussion then please adjourn to you own channels and talk to your hearts content. But do not come into Camelot and continue. I ask all OPs to be swift with a warning, then kick, then a 8 hour ban on those days for anyone wishing to prolong the meeting in the channel.
